WILDLIFE IN WATERCOLOUR

Celebrating the Beauty of Nature & Wildlife Conservation

Living in rural NSW Australia, I am surrounded by some of the most unusual wildlife in the world. On a daily basis. I am reminded of nature’s tenacity for survival. My hope is to capture the unique personalities of these and the many special animals I’ve enjoyed on my travels through watercolour portraiture.

Raising funds for wildlife protection, rescue & release through art is my mission; encouraging wildlife awareness and connection is my goal.

Mother’s Love

The warmth we feel when witnessing mothers caring for their offspring can be so strong because as humans, it’s easy to connect with that primal instinct and emotion that we share.

This collection of portraits of both Australian and African animals connect us to those special moments when we see our own love reflected in the wild.

Feathered Friends

King Parrots, Galahs, Corellas, Kookaburras, and Lorikeets are just a few of the spectacular birds that spend time with us at the farm. I love seeing how they come and go throughout the day.

The Corellas are so mischievous, the Galahs so silly as they waddle around like little Charlie Chaplins, and the King Parrots are more than happy to perch on my hand and have a chat while snacking on sunflower seeds in my palm.

Animals of Oz

I’ve been fascinated by animals my entire life and lucky enough to travel the world, enjoying them in their natural habitats.

We are so fortunate to share our little farm in Australia, with kangaroos, wallabies, possums, and wombats along with some less fuzzy critters that all deserve love and protection. With 386 mammals native to Australia, this collection of portraits will be growing for many years to come.
